Achille Salvagni for Christie’s
23 March, 2016
For both its Interior supplement as well as its March to April 2016 issue, Christie’s has featured Nick’s images of Italian interior designer Achille Salvagni.
The in Rome-based designer, who stands out not only for his great taste in fashion (wearing a tailored navy suit with matching socks coloured olive, enough said) but especially for his interiors, just opened a new atelier on Mayfair’s Grafton Street where one can now admire his carefully crafted pieces and perhaps even see the maestro himself, immaculately dressed, naturally.
In regards to his designs, Salvagni finds inspiration in the classicism of his historically rich hometown and through having studied in Sweden which enabled him to think internationally, rather than locally.
